The wonderful thing about caramel apple jello salad is that it comes together in 10 easy minutes. It’s one of those recipes that won’t set you back if you are trying to prepare an entire meal.
This salad is best when made within 1-3 hours before eating it. We like to make it within one to two hours of our dinner. We have saved leftovers for the day after and it does get a little runny the next day. But it’s still delicious and we didn’t think twice about devouring it.

Change up this salad with your desired add-ins
We love using family favorite recipes and adding a new twist, or tweaking them to fit every occasion. We have come up with some fun ingredient add ins that you might enjoy as you make caramel apple jello salad.
- English toffee bits
- Pineapple tidbits (drained well)

- Biscoff Cookies (coarsely chopped, and add right before serving)

How to make Caramel Apple Jello Salad:
The ingredients to make this salad are simple and things you might already have in your fridge or pantry. The simple ingredients are all accessible at grocery stores. And only 5 different ingredients needed. That should be easy to remember! Oh, and caramel syrup to drizzle on top.
Add the buttermilk and instant vanilla pudding together in a large mixing bowl and beat for 2 minutes. You can use a hand mixer or mix with a spoon. It will start to thicken up.Fold in the cool whip until fully combined.
Dice up the Twix bars into bite sized pieces.
You can leave the skin on or peel your Granny Smith Apples. Either way it will taste the same. Dice the apples into bite sized pieces. You can use any variety of apple you like. We like the tart and balanced flavor of Granny Smith apples, mixed with the sweet pudding, whipped topping, and candy bars.
Fold the Twix bars and apple chunks into the pudding mixture.
The candy bars and apples fold in nice and easy. Try to resist from eating this as you prepare it. It’s so good. We may know how hard this step is from sneaking a bite or two! Refrigerate until set and drizzle caramel topping over all before serving.
It’s that simple and it’s now ready to serve to your guests and they will be hooked after one amazing bite.

Ingredients
- 1 (6.4 ounce) box instant Vanilla Jell-o pudding mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip
- 3 large Granny Smith Apples
- 1 (11.4) ounce bag miniature Twix candy bars (about 20 miniature bars)
- ¼ cup caramel syrup
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding and buttermilk and beat for 2 minutes, or until fully combined and thickened.
Fold in the 16 ounce container of Cool Whip, until fully combined.
Dice up the Granny Smith apples and the Twix bars into bite size pieces, then fold into the mixture.
Refrigerate until ready to eat.
Drizzle with caramel sauce for garnish.
