Introduction
Bronya is a 5* wind harmony character and is an excellent buffer that provides a lot of versatility when she is in your team. She can be a skill point generator, buffer or sub DPS as she has 100% chance to crit on basic attack, allowing the user to purely focus on CRIT DMG. She can work in most current teams/future teams just because of how her kit works, as she has ATK, Action forward, Crit DMG, and DMG multiplier buffs, with all these being able to be proc’d in just one turn. One of her Traces gives the team more DMG for simply just EXISTING in the team.
Skills
Basic: Unlike most other generic support characters, Bronya benefits from having her Basic Attack leveled. As regardless of her role in the team, she will most likely always be Basic Attacking to generate skill points and Advance Forward her next action. Additionally, having a 100% Crit Rate and wanting Crit DMG on her relic set main/sub stats means she can deal decent damage with her Basic Attack.
Skill: Bronya’s bread and butter. She’s able to buff a teammate’s DMG while immediately advancing their turn. This skill also Dispells 1 debuff on the targeted unit.
Ultimate: Her ult increases Team DMG via increased ATK and CRIT DMG; additionally it scales off her Crit DMG. The more CRIT DMG Bronya has, the more CRIT DMG is given from her ultimate. Using Bronya’s ultimate in tandem with her skill enables High DPS ultimate rotations.
Talent: After Basic Attacking, Bronya’s next action will be Advanced Forward by 22%. This talent allows Bronya to quickly chain turns together and, in-turn generates more energy for a more consistent Ultimate uptime.
Note: Remember to use your Ultimate before your Skill to make sure you maximize the amount of energy generated/No energy overflow.
Relics and Substats
Relic Sets 1. Eagle of Twilight Line 2. Musketeer of Wild Wheat Planetary Sets | Main Stats: Body: Crit DMG Boots: SPD Planet Sphere: HP% / Wind DMG (Sub-DPS) |
Eagle of Twilight Line 4pc: This set can be taken to help improve Bronya’s personal damage output as a Sub-DPS. Additionally, the Action Advance gained after using her ultimate allows her to snowball into more turns.
Musketeer of Wild Wheat 4pc: A generic relic set that most carries and supports can use for its SPD buff.
Team Comp Philosophy
DPS
AoE /ST Damage/Buffer/Debuffer
Bronya = Skill point generator/Buffer
Healer/shielder
Bronya excels in enabling hyper-carry builds or being a skill point generator due to how often she is able to basic attack because of her talent. Her kit involves increasing DMG multiplier, ATK, and CRIT DMG all in one turn. Hard-hitting units such as Dan Heng, Seele, and Hook are all able to take advantage of Bronya’s buffs, AoE units are also good targets for her buffs if the User needs to take out minions waves with ease. Next, we want to bring either an additional Damage Buffer or Debuffer to help the DPS deal more damage, a few characters that can fit this role are Tingyun, Pela, or Asta. Finally, we want to either have a shielder or healer to keep the team healthy, here are a few characters that can fit this role: Natasha, Bailu, Gepard, and Trailblazer Fire.
Eidolons
E1: When using Skill, there is a 50% fixed chance of recovering 1 Skill Point. This effect has a 1-turn cooldown. This Eidolon helps the energy economy of the team (Albeit rather RNG), giving the option to rotate through more skills if needed.
E2: When using Skill, the target ally’s SPD increases by 30% after taking action, lasting for 1 turn. (Needs testing whether SPD is increased AFTER the buffed unit takes a turn, or Bronya takes a turn).
E4: This Eidolon is very beneficial when facing wind-weak enemies. This can prevent charged/powerful enemy attacks when timed right, while also dealing substantial damage.
E6: Helps skill point economy and can enable 2 DPS team comps with little to no skill point problems as she can alternate between skill point battery/ buffer easier.
Light Cones
Gacha
F2P
But the Battle Isn’t Over: A premium 5* light cone that is available via gacha and a light cone tailor-made for Bronya. Bronya is able to directly trigger its secondary effect with her Skill. When the wearer uses their skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30% more DMG. The additional energy regen provided by this light cone also helps solve Bronya’s energy issues.
Memories of the Past: A 4* light cone that is available from the gacha, performs a similar role to Meshing Cogs, which is to help with energy generation. We recommend this light cone to help with Bronya’s energy generation problems, this light cone combined with a 5* energy regeneration rate link robe brings down her 6 turn rotation to 4 turns. Another reason to pick this light cone over Meshing Cogs is its higher base stats and additional Break Effect.
Past and Future: A F2P 4* light cone that synergizes with Bronya’s skill as she is instantly able to action forward the targeted unit, which instantly fulfills the conditions to activate the LC effect. Although Bronya may suffer from energy generation when using this LC.
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds: A 4* light cone that is available from the Battle Pass At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer takes a turn, one of the following effects is applied.
- All allies’ attack increases by 10%
- All allies’ Crit DMG increases by 12%
- All allies’ energy regeneration increases by 6%
The applied effect cannot be the same as the last effect applied and will replace the previous effect. An overall great light cone even if the effect applied is randomized, all 3 effects are still great buff for the entire team.
Meshing Cogs: A 3* F2P/Budget light cone that regenerates 8 (Superimpose 5) energy when the wearer uses attacks or gets hit, this effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn. A 3* alternative to Memories of the Past, while its base stats are lower than Memories of the Past, it can easily be upgraded to Superimpose 5 due to its rarity.
